COVID-19 Update
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Health District (RRHD) on January 18 began to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to residents of Orange, Culpeper, Madison, Rappahannock and Fauquier counties who are age 65 years and older and to individuals age 16 to 64 who have an underlying medical condition. People may get on the list to be called for an appointment by completing an on-line survey or calling 540-308-6072. The Health District is vaccinating as many people as it can depending on the number of doses it receives and is calling people for their appointments in the order in which the survey responses were received.
In the meantime, guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) say that we should all continue to follow the same safety precautions: wear a mask when you are out; wash your hands; maintain social distance of six feet; avoid social gatherings.
LOWLINC continues to provide the services it can safely provide while guarding the health and well-being of both members and volunteers. The links below take you to important information about the vaccine and what you can do to prevent infection and remain informed. We also describe the services we are able to provide our members.
