LOWLINC’s May Speaker Series: Loss, Grief & Hope
May 2, 2024, 1:30 - 3:00pm
LOW Community Center
One of life’s challenges is coming to terms with loss and the accompanying grief we may experience. Join us to learn alongside others and develop new skills. In recognition of both Mental Health Awareness Month and Older Americans Month, we will learn more about what is “normal” grief and what we can do to keep ourselves hopeful and resilient.
Our presenter is Helen Henrich, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Helen has been a mental health counselor for 40 years in both community mental health centers and in private practice. Information about mental health resources will be available.
This event is open to the community at no cost to participants. Register online at
www.lowlinc.org or call 855-569-5462. We look forward to seeing you!
